Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Location: Marion, NC
HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Candidates must be licensed in accordance with state requirements.

Compensation

$65,000-$90,000 & Uncapped Commission

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss in accordance with clinical and state licensing standards
  • Conduct hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient education on device use and care
  • Provide quality aftercare services including troubleshooting, repairs, and hearing aid maintenance
  • Counsel patients on hearing aid and accessory options, including payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Achieve clinic growth goals while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices
  • Participate in community outreach activities, including health fairs and physician relationship development
  • Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinic leadership to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance goals
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote hearing tests and patient coaching
  • Maintain required continuing education and licensure compliance
  • Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results
  • Clearly communicate test outcomes and recommended treatment plans to patients in an easy-to-understand manner

Qualifications

  • Active Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements

Skills

Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong customer service orientation, proficiency with audiometric equipment, and a passion for helping others improve their hearing.
