Attorney Represented Commercial Casualty Adjuster - National General

About the role

National General is seeking an Attorney Represented Commercial Casualty Adjuster (Specialty Claims) to investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex specialty claims involving commercial casualty losses. This role is responsible for determining coverage, assessing liability and damages, conducting detailed investigations, and negotiating claim settlements within authority limits.

Responsibilities

• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence within increased level of authority
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling commercial casualty claims, attorney-represented files, and/or auto bodily injury claims, with the ability to manage complex exposures, collaborate with internal and external partners, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

Pay

Compensation Base: $53,500.00 – $104,100.00
