Attorney Represented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster - National General

Responsibilities

• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understands other potential property damage
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)

Qualifications

• Experience handling complex claims for Georgia and/or Florida
• Advanced understanding of insurance policies and industry practices
• Discretion and independence within increased level of authority
• Ability to identify and negotiate injury claims
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in adjusting and negotiating claims

Base compensation offered for this role is: Cons I: $53,500.00 – $86,400.00 Cons II: $56,000.00 – $93,250.00 Sr Cons I: $68,500.00 – $177,700.00 And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role includes base compensation and incentive pay.
