Responsibilities

• Manage and assist with all phases of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Handle written discovery, document review, and production.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation matters.
• Manage case files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to both the New York and Connecticut bars is required.
• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Experience handling matters in state and federal courts.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Deposition and motion practice experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage case responsibilities while working collaboratively with a team.
• Exceptional communication and client service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.

Pay

$140,000 - $185,000 per year
