Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of business and commercial litigation matters.
- Represent clients in contract disputes, partnership and shareholder conflicts, business tort claims, fiduciary duty matters, and other complex commercial disputes.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
- Take and defend depositions, participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Prepare witnesses and clients for hearings, depositions, and trial proceedings.
- Advocate for clients in court hearings, evidentiary proceedings, and trial.
- Analyze legal and business issues to provide practical, strategic advice.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality legal representation.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar.
- 3+ years of business, commercial, or civil litigation experience preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience drafting substantive motions and managing discovery.
- Deposition, mediation, arbitration, and courtroom experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and strategic thinking.
- Self-motivated professional with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to excellence.
Pay
$135,000 - $180,000 per year
