Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct fact and expert witness depositions
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
- Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and conferences
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and internal teams to develop case strategy
- Maintain clear, timely communication with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation practice
- Demonstrated experience handling depositions (fact and expert)
- Active bar admission in New Jersey and New York (required)
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
Pay
$130,000 - $165,000 per year
Additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and full benefits package.
