We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Attorney with a strong background in Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. Our ideal candidate should possess an in-depth knowledge of insurance defense law, products liability, and premises liability defense, and have a proven track record of successful defense litigation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex legal issues.
Responsibilities
- Represent insurance companies in defense of bodily and personal injury claims.
- Provide expert legal advice on insurance defense law, products liability, and premises liability defense.
- Conduct thorough and detailed investigations into insurance claims to determine the validity of the claim and the potential for defense.
- Draft, review, and modify legal documents related to insurance defense cases.
- Prepare and present defense cases in court.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of the insurance company to resolve cases efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Stay abreast of current legislation and legal developments in insurance defense law and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement effective defense strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law in the state.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense law, with a focus on products liability and premises liability defense.
- Proven experience representing insurance companies in defense of bodily and personal injury claims.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex legal issues efficiently.
- Strong research and report writing skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
- A strategic thinker with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Pay
$100,000 - $170,000 per year
