Job Details

We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have meaningful exposure to real estate-related disputes and construction law issues and will be comfortable managing matters through multiple stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document production and review using e-discovery platforms
• Prepare and examine witnesses for hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Participate in trials, evidentiary hearings, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and assist in resolving client matters efficiently and strategically

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience
• Experience with real estate-related litigation and/or construction law disputes strongly preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Solid knowledge of New York civil procedure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
