About the role
Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local Laws.
Responsibilities
- Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local Laws.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A accredited law school and admission to the bar.
- Minimum Experience: Zero to three years’ experience during law school or as a practicing attorney.
Qualifications
- Superior academic record.
- Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation, human relations, and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference in Memphis | Employment Litigation law particularly Title VII; employment litigation experience; investigations experience, leave and accommodation law;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Project management experience;
- Strong judgment and decision-making;
- Attention to detail;
- Collaboration and teamwork;
- Microsoft Office proficinecy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Attorney II: Mkt M: $11,422.28 - $22,844.58 /mo
Schedule
Hybrid in Memphis, TN (preferred), PGH, PA, Plano, TX, Irvine, CA, or DC and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
