About the role

Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local Laws.

Responsibilities

• Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local Laws.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A accredited law school and admission to the bar.
• Minimum Experience: Zero to three years’ experience during law school or as a practicing attorney.

Qualifications

• Superior academic record.
• Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation, human relations, and communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference in Memphis | Employment Litigation law particularly Title VII; employment litigation experience; investigations experience, leave and accommodation law;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Project management experience;
• Strong judgment and decision-making;
• Attention to detail;
• Collaboration and teamwork;
• Microsoft Office proficinecy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Attorney: Mkt M: $8,649.70 - $17,299.39 /mo
• Attorney II Mkt N & Y: $9,932.42 - $19,864.85 /mo
• Attorney II: Mkt M: $11,422.28 - $22,844.58 /mo

Schedule

Hybrid in Memphis, TN (preferred), PGH, PA, Plano, TX, Irvine, CA, or DC and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
