Attorney - Attorney II (multi-level)
Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Responsibilities
- Provides legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an A.B.A accredited law school and admission to the bar.
- Zero to three years’ experience during law school or as a practicing attorney.
Skills
- Superior academic record.
- Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation, human relations, and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference for candidates based in Memphis.
- Experience in employment litigation law, particularly Title VII.
- Employment litigation experience, investigations experience, leave and accommodation law.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management experience.
- Strong judgment and decision-making.
- Attention to detail.
- Collaboration and teamwork.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Law firm employment litigation experience.
Pay
- Attorney: Mkt N & Y: $7,521.48 - $15,042.95 /mo
- Attorney: Mkt M: $8,649.70 - $17,299.39 /mo
- Attorney II Mkt N & Y: $9,932.42 - $19,864.85 /mo
- Attorney II: Mkt M: $11,422.28 - $22,844.58 /mo
Schedule
This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN (preferred), PGH, PA, Plano, TX, Irvine, CA, or DC. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
