About the role

MUST have at least 5 years insurance defense experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently but also collaboratively in a litigation setting. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, conducting discovery, negotiating settlements, and preparing for and potentially attending trials.

Responsibilities

• Research and write persuasive legal briefs
• Manage all aspects of litigation cases from start to finish
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct and review discovery
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements
• Prepare for and participate in trials, if necessary

Requirements

• Strong research and writing skills
• Experience in insurance defense litigation
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Knowledgeable about legal procedures and practices
