Attorney

Position Overview

The attorney hired for this position will assist with the firm's medical malpractice defense cases and other litigation matters. The attorney will be given responsibility for handling cases at all stages of litigation, from initial case assessment and strategy, discovery, to trial.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Taking and defending depositions
• Appearing in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings
• Working with clients, insurers, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial

Qualifications

• Litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage cases independently
• Excellent judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Membership in the Utah Bar (or the ability to obtain membership in the Utah Bar)

Pay

Pay will be based on experience level and is competitive in the industry.
