Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with both internal and external partners, via verbal and written forms of communication.
- Intake and substantiate new claims received from clients.
- Drafting, reviewing, and signing pleadings and correspondence.
- Participate in developing the strategy, etc., to prepare for the presentation of cases.
- Research and interpret laws, regulations, procedures, etc.
- Maintain compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and other applicable regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and act on behalf of the client's best interest at all stages of the legal process.
- Analyze and process data, as assigned by the Client Litigation Manager or Managing Attorney, to ensure that workflow is being followed in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations, client policy and procedures, and firm standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Georgia Bar licensure (other state bars in good standing are welcomed).
- Experience with high volume case load is extremely helpful but a supportive training environment is provided if applicant does not have such experience.
- Fluency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and overall computer use is necessary.
- Able to pivot and accomplish multiple tasks during the work day is necessary.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- No billable hour requirement.
Location
Atlanta, GA
Travel will be required for court appearances.
