The practice represents lessors, lenders, banks, private funds, manufacturers, operators, investors, and other financial institutions in complex financings involving aviation, shipping, rail, and other high-value and movable assets. While asset and transportation finance experience is highly valued, the firm is also interested in attorneys with a broader finance background who have strong experience structuring and documenting sophisticated credit transactions and are interested in developing or expanding their asset finance practice.

  • Conduct due diligence and analyze transaction structures, collateral, ownership, and security arrangements
  • Manage transaction timelines, coordinate closings, and oversee post-closing matters
  • Work directly with clients and take increasing responsibility for sophisticated transactions

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, or a foreign law degree accompanied by a U.S. LL.M. from an accredited law school
