About the role

Growing real estate law firm is looking for an associate attorney to join our dynamic and engaging Cleveland Assessment Recovery group that offers a tremendous opportunity for long term advancement and professional development opportunities. This position regularly handles matters related to assessment recovery, money judgments, bankruptcy, judgment execution, foreclosure, and other real property issues. Attorney should enjoy significant client contact and public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Handle assessment recovery matters
• Manage money judgments
• Handle bankruptcy cases
• Execute judgments
• Manage foreclosure proceedings
• Address other real property issues
• Maintain significant client contact
• Engage in public speaking

Requirements

• Must be admitted to practice law in Ohio
• 0–5 years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in litigation-based civil matters
• Prior work experience must demonstrate dedication and hard work
• Prior experience using a Microsoft operating system and other sophisticated software
• Must be available during business hours, as well as some evenings and weekends for client meetings
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent personal skills
