Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cases from intake to resolution, including drafting complaints and answers, coordinating discovery, preparing witnesses, taking/defending depositions, handling motion practice, and conducting trials.
- Serve as a main point of contact, advise clients on case progress, lead corporate client meetings, and participate in public speaking opportunities.
- Manage assigned and self-originated caseloads, guide administrative staff, and maintain electronic task lists and billing via modern legal software.
Requirements
- Bar Admission: Must be licensed to practice law in Indiana.
- Experience: 0-5 years of litigation background in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or civil governmental representation.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft operating systems and practice management software.
- Flexibility & Skills: Strong interpersonal presence, solid work ethic, and availability for regular business hours with occasional evening/weekend client meetings.
