Property Profile:

Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino offers a casino with nearly 38,000 square feet of space, including 640 slot machines and 18 tables for various games. The property is committed to providing exceptional service to both guests and employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensures clean rooms in the hotel tower
• Uses cleaning agents and equipment to adhere to department policies
• Removes inventories and replaces soiled linens
• Prepares rooms for guest arrivals
• Organizes and replenishes guest room amenities
• Maintains a clean and orderly cart with adequate supplies
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment
• Promotes positive guest relations at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred
• Basic computer experience preferred
• Basic mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication skills in English, bilingual language abilities preferred
• Able to work weekends
• At least 1 year experience in Housekeeping

Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and finger, hand, and arm use
• Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Frequent pushing of cleaning cart and operating vacuums
• Exposure to casino-related environmental factors such as second-hand smoke and excessive noise

Candidates must obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before beginning employment. This may include credit check, criminal background check, and drug screen.
