Athletic Training Coordinator

About the role

The Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining working relationships with referring and/or attending physicians and school administrators. They oversee daily operations, coordinate work, achieve operational goals, enhance customer satisfaction, and comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements unit operating budgets.
• Facilitates and monitors work processes of ATC teams.
• Manages team by setting complex and high-quality strategies and goals.
• Establishes standards of excellence and engages others by seeking feedback and improving performance.
• Holds others and is self-accountable for actions, seeking input and opportunities for improvement.
• Travels with teams as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required.
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.
• 2 years supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

• Experience in rehabilitation services preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
