Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Role Overview Assess, evaluate, and treat patients of all ages in a clinical setting. Serve as a professional role model and resource for providers, staff, residents, and students. Responsibilities Include Designing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring patient response, and documenting evaluations and treatment modifications. Providing physical care following medical direction, including emergency interventions like CPR. Assessing patient compliance, learning needs, and response to care. Instructing patients and families on treatment, activities, and home care. Performing physical and developmental assessments. Providing athletic training services at contracted schools or events. Utilizing EMR systems and staying current with medical practices to enhance athlete care. Qualifications & Skills Certifications: BLS (AHA), Licensed Athletic Trainer (IDFPR), Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC). Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to deliver effective treatment and emergency care.
