Role Overview Assess, evaluate, and treat patients of all ages in a clinical setting, serving as a professional role model and resource for providers, staff, residents, and students. Responsibilities Assess patient response to prescribed care plans and therapeutic outcomes.Evaluate patient learning needs related to diagnosis, treatment, and self-management.Deliver physical care following medical direction, monitor responses, and document evaluations and treatment plans.Implement effective treatment methods and update athlete progress.Instruct athletes and families on treatment, activities, and home care.Perform physical and developmental assessments and provide athletic training services at various sites.Administer emergency care, including CPR, and manage daily event coverage.Maintain proficiency with EMR systems and stay current with medical practices to enhance athlete care.
