JOB PURPOSE
The Training Center Manager is responsible for developing, delivering, and overseeing comprehensive training programs that equip team members with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. This position leads a team of Field Trainers to execute impactful training initiatives aligned with organizational goals, ensuring consistency and excellence across all ATE operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver training programs and processes including content and materials that align with business needs.
- Lead a training team to execute developed training programs displaying proper procedures and day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Training, Talent Acquisition team and Mobile Operations leaders to stay aligned on new hire start dates, ensuring timely communication and coordination of all onboarding logistics.
- Assist in developing training curriculums structured for various job roles within ATE covering essential skills and competencies.
- Deliver training sessions directly or coordinate with ATE Instructors or Field Trainers to ensure that team members receive the necessary instruction i.e. in-person training, live classroom sessions, virtual training, or a blend of all environments.
- Review and approve company card expense submissions for team members, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and proper documentation before final processing.
- Affiliate in Implementation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training programs, such as pre and post training assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics.
- Leverage technology and e-learning platforms to facilitate training, track progress, and provide access to training material online.
- Collaborate with leadership to align training initiatives with organizational goals and strategies then communicating the benefits of training to team members and stakeholders.
- Identify high-potential employees and create career development paths and succession plans.
- Maintain accurate training records of training activities, attendance, and performance results to then generate reports to demonstrate the impact of training in the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training & Development, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of management experience.
- 5+ years of training background developing, and overseeing training programs.
- Strong technological skills, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to ADAS technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt training approaches to different audiences and learning styles.
- Proven training and instructional design skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Exude professionalism showing passion for the industry with an unwavering drive to doing things correctly.
- Overnight/air travel required, up to 25% of the time, depending on drivability of assigned market.
- A safe driving record and a valid Driver’s License required.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in automotive shop environments.
- 2+ years working in or around the ADAS Industry, with knowledge in ADAS and electrical services, equipment/tooling, and procedures preferred.
PAY
USD $90,000.00/Yr. USD $120,000.00/Yr.
