About the role
This position is considered hybrid, meaning team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, professionals are encouraged to be in the office together in person on average 3 days a week.
You will support the CHAMP Group, which provides services to consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing clients. The team includes Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners, all focused on delivering value to clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules
- Develop a thorough understanding of all audit, tax, and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, providing regular performance coaching and feedback while developing individual technical and industry skills
- Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear direction and leadership
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in a reputable public accounting firm
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting
- CPA or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Commercial industry experience a plus
- Knowledge of audit software (CCH Engagement or similar) a plus
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation (verbal and written) skills

Pay
In California, the salary range for Assurance Senior Associates is $75,000 - $120,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
