This position is hybrid, requiring team members to be in the office on average 3 days a week for in-person collaboration, with the cadence determined at the team level.
About the Team
As part of the Financial Services Industry team, you’ll work with leading private equity, hedge, and alternative investment funds. You’ll gain expertise in the capital markets ecosystem while delivering audit, tax, and value creation solutions for transactions, funds, and portfolio companies. Collaboration with other CohnReznick industry and service line teams ensures outstanding technical and client service. The team serves clients across major financial centers, including New York, Connecticut, California, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Denver, and Miami.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans, budgets, and schedules
- Actively participate in proposals
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
- Build respect and confidence through effective client management, timely communication, and clear direction
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in public accounting
- Financial Services experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
- Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
Pay
In California, the salary range for Assurance Senior Associates is $75,000 - $120,000. Salary determination varies based on geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. The total rewards package also includes a discretionary performance bonus.
