Assurance Senior Associate [Financial Services Group]

About the role

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm with most professionals located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid, requiring team members to be thoughtful and intentional in creating opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Serving as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• Continue to build a thorough understanding of all audits, tax and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.
• In managing a team of staff associates, including interns, you will provide regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills.
• Effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
• CPA designation is required
• 3+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
• Financial Services industry experience preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus

Pay

Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
