Assurance Manager [Affordable Housing Group]

This position is hybrid, requiring team members to be in the office on average 3 days a week, with the cadence determined at the team level.

This role supports the Affordable Housing Group, one of the country's largest real estate advisory firms. The team focuses on community development, addressing inequities, and leveraging market-leading technologies and processes. You will collaborate with Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners who are passionate about delivering value to clients.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans, budgets, and schedules
- Actively participate in proposals
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA designation (required)
- 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm (required)
- Knowledge of audit software (ProSystem Fx is a plus)
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written)
Pay
In New York City, the salary range for an Assurance Manager is $105,000 to $170,000. Salary is one component of the total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus and other benefits.
