About the Team

This position will support our Commercial Services Industry Group. CohnReznick’s Commercial Services Industry Group focuses on serving clients in the Consumer, Hospitality, and Manufacturing & Distribution sectors. The group works with middle-market and growth-oriented companies, providing integrated advisory, assurance, and tax services tailored to the operational, financial, and regulatory challenges these industries face.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, budgets, and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
• Gain the respect and confidence of the team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear direction and leadership

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Industry experience required
• CHAMP SEC & PCAOB experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Pay

In New York, the salary range for an Assurance Experienced Associate is $70,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus and other benefits.

Schedule

This position is considered hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week. The cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, and professionals are encouraged to create opportunities for in-person collaboration.
