Your Team

As part of the Financial Sponsors & Financial Services team, you’ll work with leading private equity, venture capital, hedge, real estate, cannabis, private credit, and other alternative investment funds. You’ll gain expertise in the capital markets ecosystem while delivering audit, tax, and value creation solutions for transactions, funds, and portfolio companies. Collaboration with other CohnReznick industry and service line teams ensures outstanding technical and client service. Clients across major U.S. financial centers deploy billions in capital and expect market-tested expertise, industry knowledge, and timely responses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans and budgets
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing performance coaching and feedback
• Demonstrate effective client management, communication, and leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (required)
• CPA designation (required)
• 2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm (required)
• Financial Services industry experience (preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of audit software (ProSystem Fx a plus)
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills

Pay

In New York, the salary range for Assurance Experienced Associates is $70,000 – $100,000. Salary determination varies based on geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. The total rewards package also includes a discretionary performance bonus.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position, with team members expected to work in the office an average of 3 days per week. The cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, with flexibility to create opportunities for in-person collaboration.
