This position supports CohnReznick’s Commercial Services Industry Group, which focuses on serving clients in the Consumer, Hospitality, and Manufacturing & Distribution sectors. The group works with middle-market and growth-oriented companies, providing integrated advisory, assurance, and tax services tailored to the operational, financial, and regulatory challenges these industries face.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, budgets, and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
• Demonstrate effective client management, timely communication, and clear direction and leadership

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Industry experience required
• CHAMP SEC & PCAOB experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Pay

In New York, the salary range for an Assurance Experienced Associate is $70,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.
