Asst Property Manager / Asst Community Manager - AH/Tax Credit

The Role

We are seeking an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers competitive pay, multiple bonus programs, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the community's assets, ensuring they exemplify California living at its best.
• Oversee daily operations and financial performance, optimizing net operating income.
• Work closely with the Community Manager and maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the community.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agreements and fair employment and housing laws.
• Handle tenant income certifications, calculations, and other Affordable Housing/Tax Credit tasks.
• Support the Community Manager in maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for residents.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager or a similar role.
• Strong background in managing multifamily properties, including tenant income certifications and compliance reports.
• Experience with financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting.
• Familiarity with landlord tenant law and fair employment and housing laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay and Schedule

$24.00 per hour plus benefits.
