Assistant Property Manager - Tax Credit

What You'll Do

  • Support day-to-day property operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing their questions, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner
  • Review notices to vacate and support retention efforts
  • Welcome prospects, conduct tours, and handle leasing paperwork as needed
  • Afford assistance with preparation of the annual budget and monitoring expenses throughout the year
  • Process, approve, and submit invoices for payment
  • Maintain and reconcile petty cash
  • Track monthly variances and prepare narratives
  • Communicate with vendors regarding scheduling, billing, COIs, and performance
  • Ensure use of approved vendors and adherence to budget guidelines

What We're Looking For

  • Tax Credit experience
  • Two or more years of experience in property management, leasing, or related multifamily housing roles
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and multifamily regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
