Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its Sacramento office. This role assists the Project Manager in managing administrative and technical requirements for construction special projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- At least 5 years of previous construction office or field commercial experience in a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager role
- 1-year or more of direct supervisory experience
- Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.)
- Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s)
Qualifications
- Local candidates preferred but not required
- DSDA/Public works experience is a plus
- Commissioning Coordinator experience
- Experience in Change Orders Drafting/Negotiating
- Knows how to drive material procurement as it relates to schedule
- Can read a look ahead and CPM schedule
- Capable of facilitating meetings
- Experience in reviewing sub-billings
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices

The base compensation range for the role of Assistant Project Manager in Sacramento, CA posted above is $105,000 to $125,000 annually.
