About the role

Inspect, operate, and maintain amusement rides and play equipment, including several outdoor rides and other mechanical attractions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily pre-opening inspections, operational checks, and routine monitoring of rides and equipment to identify mechanical defects, loose fittings, abnormal noise, wear, damage, or other safety concerns.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including lubrication, tightening, alignment, adjustment, cleaning, and replacement of worn or damaged mechanical components.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and support timely troubleshooting, repair, and restoration of rides and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
  • Assist Senior Engineers/Technicians in the installation, assembly, testing, commissioning, modification, and dismantling of rides, play structures, and mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance and operational activities comply with approved safety procedures, manufacturer recommendations, engineering standards, risk-control measures, and company SOPs.
  • Confirm that all rides and equipment are mechanically safe and operational before opening to visitors and immediately recommend shutdown of any equipment presenting a safety risk.
  • Properly use, maintain, and store tools, spare parts, consumables, and replaced components, maintaining an organized workshop and equipment storage area.
  • Maintain inspection, preventive maintenance, breakdown, repair, and spare-parts records and promptly report equipment faults, safety issues, and abnormal operating conditions to the Senior Engineer/authorized authority.
  • Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and service providers during maintenance, repair, inspection, and installation activities and ensure work is completed according to approved requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safe working conditions in workshops, ride areas, maintenance zones, and equipment storage locations.
  • Provide immediate technical support during ride breakdowns, equipment failures, and other operational emergencies while following established emergency and visitor-safety procedures.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related fields.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
