Asst Controller, Development

About the role

Join our team in a full-time capacity to oversee financial operations for commercial real estate development projects. Located in Charlotte, NC, you will collaborate with various teams to manage project financials.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of accounting and financial reporting for development projects
• Management of budgets, job cost tracking, and construction draws
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and variance analyses
• Coordination of debt funding requests and maintenance of lender relationships
• Development and improvement of accounting SOPs and financial controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of experience in real estate development or construction finance
• Strong understanding of development accounting and financial modeling
• Preferred experience with Commercial Retail or Mixed-use Developments
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
