Asst/Assoc/Full Research Professor of Medicine- Nephrology
About the role
The Department of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for Scientist track faculty positions in Nephrology. Applicants should have evidence of excellent research training, including high impact publications. Successful candidates will have either current or potential extramural funding.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in nephrology
- Develop and maintain an active extramurally funded research program
- Teach and mentor trainees at the graduate, undergraduate, and medical student levels
- Participate in departmental, university, and external committees and activities
Requirements
- Doctorate or terminal degree in relevant field
- Evidence of excellent research training, including high impact publications
- Current or potential extramural funding
Qualifications
- Ph.D or equivalent terminal degree
- Open faculty rank (Assistant, Associate, Senior Research Professor)
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
