Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
- Maintain billable hours as necessary.
- Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
- Auxiliary in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.
Position Requirements
- Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New York and New Jersey.
- Workers’ Compensation experience required preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
- Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$150,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
