About the role

We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Associate to join our growing team in the Atlanta Office (Alpharetta, GA). This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain billable hours as necessary.
• Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
• Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing in Georgia.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in litigation (judicial clerks will be considered).
• Experience in Workers’ Compensation Defense work preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $95,000–$135,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
