Wheelersburg Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our collaborative, multi-doctor small animal practice in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations and develop treatment plans
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals
  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures based on experience and interest
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
  • Build strong relationships with clients through education and communication
  • Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital standards of care

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Eligible for or currently holding an active Ohio veterinary license
  • DEA license or ability to obtain
  • Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills
  • New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30/6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • No emergency or on-call responsibilities
