Associate Veterinarian

About the role

We are open to full or part time schedules for our associate veterinarians to keep a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Mentorship and collaboration to help our doctors learn and grow
• Provide the highest level of care to our patients
• Maintain a calm and professional environment for our patients and their families
• Perform all traditional veterinary services including wellness care, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, spay & neuter, diagnostics, pain management, nutrition management, and urgent care needs
• Offer cold laser therapy for additional recovery or management options
• Ensure a fear-free experience for our patients through Fear Free Certified Professionals and Cat Friendly Practice certification

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school
• Michigan State Licensure
• Experience in a private practice setting preferred
• Strong client communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
