Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team at VCA Cromwell Animal Hospital. Our practice offers a supportive environment with advanced diagnostic tools and a focus on surgery. We are AAHA-accredited and located in the heart of Connecticut, with plans for further growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures
• Provide comprehensive care for small animal patients, including felines and canines
• Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high-quality veterinary care
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Licensure to practice in Connecticut or the ability to obtain licensure
• Experience in dentistry and surgery (optional but preferred)
• Commitment to ethical veterinary practices and continuous learning

Pay

Compensation is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Schedule

The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, including rotating Saturdays from 8am-1pm.
