About the role

Join us as an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Coral Animal Hospital located in Fort Myers, FL. You’ll be part of a well-supported team with world-class medicine, technology, facilities, and a talented group of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients under the supervision of licensed veterinarians.
• Perform routine and complex medical procedures, including surgeries and dental care.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
• Mentor students and new graduates, fostering their growth and development in veterinary medicine.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Florida, or the ability to obtain.
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Pay

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Schedule

Full-Time Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.
