Associate Therapist

About the role

Healthy Minds NYC was founded in 2016 by Dr. Lanre Dokun to provide accessible, effective therapy tailored for NYC professionals. The practice focuses on providing culturally competent and contextually relevant care through a combination of therapists' diverse backgrounds and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapy sessions in-person or via telehealth
• Work with a care coordinator to screen and assign clients
• Participate in group and individual supervision
• Attend administrative meetings and engage in promotional efforts
• Communicate directly with clients and care coordinator as needed
• Train in EHR and Google Suite for scheduling, information storage, and telehealth sessions

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• Licensure as a mental health professional in the state of New York
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassion and empathy for individuals with mental health issues
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Schedule
