About the role

This position serves as an Associate Supervisor of Clinical Operations within the Specialties department at Atrius Health. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, you will oversee clinical operations in an ambulatory care setting, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in an ambulatory care setting, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and policies.
• Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage of clinical services.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff to optimize workflow and improve patient care.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical support staff.
• Participate in performance evaluations and professional development activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test)
• 3+ years of experience in a medical support role (e.g., medical assistant) in an outpatient facility
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals at all levels
• Ability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership potential

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
