Job Summary
You will be a pivotal leader, overseeing and coordinating comprehensive clinical initiatives, establishing protocols, driving process improvements, and managing resources to enhance both patient care and operational efficiency. You will lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate comprehensive clinical initiatives
- Establish and drive process improvements
- Manage resources to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
- Lead, mentor, and empower a dedicated team
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ensure patient care is achieved at lowest controllable costs
- Support the development of the clinic’s annual budget
- Resolve problems and issues, and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with Administrative Director and Physician Site Directors
- Discuss and resolve daily operational and financial issues
- Participate in work groups, teams, task forces, and committees
- Provide support to service-line issues
- Support centralized coordination of the clinic's financial operating budget
- Assist in resolving problems and issues
- Reconcile discrepancies
Required Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related subject or 5 years of experience in lieu of the degree
- Three (3) years of outpatient clinic experience
- Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ) or Licensed Practical Nurse: AZ (LPN:AZ)
Preferred
- Prior networking (relationship building) experience for either managed care or integrated delivery systems
- Demonstrated ability to work with physicians
- Knowledge of business and management principles, and of budget control and accounting principles, including capital budgeting, cost accounting, professional and patient billing
- Ability to apply these principles in a health care environment
- Knowledge or ability to learn the budgeting process, management reports, accounting, purchasing, and patient billing systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
