Associate Shuttle Driver

About the role

The Associate Shuttle Driver at Nemacolin is responsible for transporting associates to and from their work and housing locations in a safe and timely manner. Essential functions include completing a walk-through of the vehicle, checking fluid levels and tires, cleaning the vehicle, and communicating courteously on hand-held radios.

Responsibilities

• Transport associates to and from their destination (work and housing locations)
• Complete walk through of vehicle; log damage on log sheet and report to GTM
• Check vehicle's fluids and tires
• Clean both exterior and interior of vehicles
• Courteous communication on hand-held radios between dispatcher and other drivers
• Must stay in a continuous loop throughout property
• Other job duties assigned

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma
• Ability to take direction and work under stressful situations
• Flexible scheduling to work evenings, days, holidays, and weekends
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer-service oriented
• Desire to work with others in a team environment
• Able to drive standard and automatic transmissions
