Associate Senior Lecturers in Political Science at Uppsala University

About the role

The position is a combined research and teaching role within the field of Development Studies. Teaching responsibilities may also include courses in political science at the department. The position permits up to 50% teaching and the remaining 50% is devoted to research.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, including course coordination, supervision, and course administration.
• Administrative tasks related to teaching and research.
• Keeping up to date with developments within the discipline and society relevant to university teaching.
• Following developments within the field of Development Studies and political science.

Requirements

• A documented ability to teach in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• The post of Associate Senior Lecturer may be held for up to four years with the right to be assessed for promotion to Senior Lecturer.
