Postdoctoral Researcher in Political Science at Stockholm University

Main responsibilities

• Conduct research within the research program in collaboration with other projects participants.

• Involves data collection, analysis, interviews, field work, and dissemination of results through scholarly journals and conferences.

• Involves 20 percent teaching.

About the role

The Department of Political Science is a dynamic and strong education- and research department at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Stockholm University. The Department aims to be nationally leading and internationally prominent within its field of research and education. Environmental Politics and International Politics are central research topics at the Department. Environmental Research in the Human Science is a cross-faculty research initiative in the academic area of human science.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a PhD in Political Science or a closely related field, with a strong background in global environmental politics and sustainable development. Experience in conducting research on multi-stakeholder partnerships and effective governance mechanisms is highly desirable.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in another language may be advantageous.

Schedule
