Associate Research Professor - BMB
Job Responsibilities
- Build responsive, scalable, and beautiful web components that solve pressing challenges in genomic data analysis
- Integrate capabilities from multiple systems to create seamless user experience
- Help domain researchers and understand their needs to design and implement web-based capabilities that support their use case
- Explore new technologies and figure out where to use them
- Come up with creative ideas for projects and work through them with your teammates

Requirements
- Ph.D. degree, or its equivalent, in computer science, or be an active candidate for a terminal degree, in an academic field related to computer science
- Knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework and ecosystem, Bootstrap, Git + GitHub, CI tools
- Familiarity with Python and REST APIs
- Great communication skills and interest in working with other teammates
- Familiarity with the basics of genomics, such as concepts, data types, tools, is preferred
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree, or its equivalent, in computer science, or be an active candidate for a terminal degree, in an academic field related to computer science.
Skills
Knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework and ecosystem, Bootstrap, Git + GitHub, CI tools is required, as is familiarity with Python and REST APIs.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
