Job Summary
The Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking to fill a tenured faculty position at the level of Associate Professor in the area of social psychology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a successful research program, teach at the undergraduate and graduate level and supervise master's and doctoral students. The Department is a multi-disciplinary and highly collaborative environment. We encourage applications from any sub-field of research in social psychology.
Key Job Responsibilities
Successful applicants will conduct scholarly research, teach graduate and undergraduate classes, mentor students, and provide service to the department, college, university, and academic community nationally or internationally.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should demonstrate evidence of creativity and excellence in teaching and scholarly research. In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate experience with fostering or the ability to foster a teaching, learning, mentoring, departmental, and a research environment where all can thrive. Specifically, the successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability and commitment to mentor at-risk, first-generation, or underrepresented undergraduate or graduate students to achieve academic success.
Education
PhD in Psychology or related field by start of appointment.
