Associate Recruiter - Retail Sales

About the role

We're seeking an Associate Recruiter who enjoys engaging in meaningful conversations and building connections over the phone. Key responsibilities include screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Spend a significant amount of time screening resumes and conducting phone interviews
• Send qualified candidates to the hiring manager with notes
• Handle a high volume of phone calls while maintaining positive interpersonal skills
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet staffing goals
• Employ organizational skills to minimize project obstacles and solve issues
• Communicate daily with the HR team on staffing status updates

Requirements

• Able to handle a high volume of phone calls while incorporating positive interpersonal skills
• Maintain an organized schedule and clear communication with applicants
• Work independently and as part of a team to reach staffing goals
• Employ organizational skills to effectively minimize obstacles that negatively impact the project
• Able to employ sound decision-making/problem solving skills to resolve issues and seek advice as needed
• Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements especially in regard to the interviewing process
• Communicate daily with the HR team on all staffing status updates

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• At least one year of recruiting experience is required, retail sales highly preferred
• Incredibly comfortable talking on the phone and connecting with new people
• Previous customer service experience is required
• Must be able to communicate effectively using both verbal and written communication
• Aptitude to comply with company policies, project hiring requirements and client requirements
• Strong knowledge of computer programs and software including: Microsoft Office programs (Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); use of the Internet
