Associate Recruiter
About the role
Works closely with the Talent Acquisition Leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and identify selection criteria that align with the job description.
Creates a recruitment plan to ensure quality candidates meet the organization’s needs.
Assists with developing talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Utilizes job boards, social media platforms, and internal databases to identify potential candidates.
Schedules and coordinates interviews ensuring prompt and effective communication with candidates, hiring team, and internal partners.
Answers questions and provides coaching and guidance to candidates, hiring manager, and interview panel.
Gathers feedback and delivers feedback or extends offers.
Supports HR programs through the recruitment process, including pre-boarding activities such as I9 audits.
Aids in preparing recruiting materials or coordinating recruitment events.
Maintains accurate records in relevant systems, including applicant tracking system (ATS) and human resource information system (HRIS).

Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1+ year of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of HR and/or recruitment policies, regulations, and best practices
- Exposure to sourcing, screening, and/or candidate selection
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Good initiative, time-management, organization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to interpret and work within standard practices and policies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain discretion when handling sensitive data
- Good collaboration skills with the ability to help identify needs
- Ability to accept accountability and take ownership of workload
